They win numerous medals at prestigious competitions, such as „Copa Silesia” in Gliwice, „OAK Jiu Jitsu Challenge” in Dąbrowa Górnicza, „Małopolska Liga Jiu-Jitsu” in Wieliczka and at one of the most prestigious events in the country – „Solt Submission Only: „Polish Championships” in Opole. By supporting young players, the Petralana Foundation not only shapes their sports skills, but also inspires them to strive for excellence. Successes achieved at various tournaments are not only an expression of individual talent, but also the result of the joint efforts of players and support from the foundation. This dynamic cooperation creates solid foundations for talent development and promotes values ​​related to physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.

As part of the Great Christmas Charity Campaign, the PETRALANA Foundation, in cooperation with Koksownia Bytom, continues its long-standing commitment to those in need during the holiday season. This is an initiative that aims to bring joy and support into the lives of children and families from Bytom. Just before Christmas, representatives of the foundation visit three children’s centers in the city, giving the youngest children gifts and sweets. These moments full of smiles and joy create unforgettable memories for children, adding magic to the holiday season. However, the action is not limited only to the spheres of children’s hearts. The PETRALANA Foundation is also involved in helping families from neighboring districts by providing them with food parcels. In this way, it supports preparations for Christmas Eve dinner and holidays, trying to make these days especially special for all residents. Additionally, as part of the Great Christmas Charity Campaign, the PETRALANA Foundation is organizing a special Christmas Eve for people in the homeless crisis. This initiative aims to provide a warm and hospitable place where those who find themselves in difficult life situations can spend the holidays together in an atmosphere of support and social solidarity. The entire campaign is an expression of the foundation’s commitment to broadly understood social good, while building bridges between various groups of city residents.

The PETRALANA Foundation, as part of its regular charity activities, organized the second edition of a charity hockey match. The event took place at the Bytom ice rink. Brothers Nikodemowiczów, where the team of the Hockey Representation of Polish Artists faced the TVN 24 team and friends, including Dad Dominik. The aim of the campaign was to raise funds for the treatment of six-month-old Dominik Makowski, who is at risk of losing his sight. The match ended with a score of 7:6 in favor of the TVN 24 team, providing viewers with an unforgettable experience. Support for the event also came from Koksownia Bytom, the main sponsor, and the generosity of participants and sponsors allowed for the collection of PLN 45,000. PLN for little Dominik. May the next editions be met with similar enthusiasm from the community, helping those who need it.

During the last Night of Museums, Koksownia Bytom had the pleasure of hosting visitors in the historic gym, the future seat of the Coking Museum, which is also an integral part of the former Bobrek Steelworks. This extraordinary event allowed participants to travel back in time, discovering the industrial space of the 1930s. Here, among unique corners of industrial history, the Coke Industry Museum presents a fascinating story about the development of our area. We are glad that the Night of Museums in Koksownia Bytom met with great interest, and visitors had the opportunity to explore the secrets and unique heritage related to the former activities of Huta Bobrek, now intertwined with the dynamic presence of Koksownia Bytom.
